Diagnosis and replacement of common electrical components when compatible parts are available.
Not sure what your ride needs? Start with a diagnostic and our certified technician will inspect the issue before recommending repairs.
DIAGNOSTICS
Electrical problems can have more than one possible cause. We start with a diagnostic inspection, identify what’s actually wrong, and explain the recommended repair before moving forward.
Initial troubleshooting for electrical and electronic issues on compatible e-scooters and e-bikes.
Additional diagnostic time may be quoted if the issue requires unusually extensive troubleshooting.
Checking common causes when the scooter or e-bike will not power on.
Reviewing compatible system error codes and related components.
Testing the motor, controller, and related electrical systems when appropriate.
Basic battery and charging-system checks to help identify power-related issues.
Checking compatible chargers and charging behavior as part of a charging-system diagnosis.
Inspecting accessible wiring, connectors, and related electrical components for faults or damage.
We inspect and troubleshoot the issue.
We explain what we found and provide recommended repair pricing.
Repairs begin only after customer approval.
If you approve the recommended repair, the diagnostic fee is applied toward the repair job total.
Once you approve the estimate, a 50% deposit is required to begin work and order parts. The remaining balance is due when the repair is complete.
Diagnostic pricing covers labor for initial troubleshooting. Replacement parts, repair labor, tax, and any additional approved work are separate unless specifically stated.
ELECTRICAL SERVICE
Electrical repairs can vary significantly by make, model, component, and accessibility. After diagnosis, we’ll explain what we found and provide a repair estimate before any work begins.
Replacement of compatible removable or internally mounted battery assemblies when safe, compatible parts are available.
Replacement of compatible motor controllers and related connections after diagnosis confirms the issue.
Replacement of compatible displays, dashboards, or control screens.
Replacement of compatible thumb, trigger, or twist throttles and related wiring.
Repair or replacement of accessible wiring, connectors, and localized electrical connections.
Diagnosis and replacement of compatible brake cutoff sensors and related components.
Replacement of compatible motor assemblies when appropriate. Wheel rebuilding or specialty motor work may require a separate quote.
Installation or replacement of compatible lights and electrical accessories.
We identify the electrical issue and determine what repair is needed.
You receive the repair estimate and choose whether to move forward.
After approval, a 50% deposit is required to begin work and order parts. The remaining balance is due when service is complete.
Diagnostic credit: If you approve the recommended repair, the diagnostic fee is applied toward the repair job total.
Electrical repairs are subject to make/model compatibility, parts availability, component condition, and safe serviceability.
SERVICE LIMITATIONS
Some battery, charging, and structural repairs fall outside the services Electrik Rides can safely provide.
We do not rebuild battery packs at the individual cell level.
We do not open or repair battery packs that are swollen, physically damaged, punctured, overheated, leaking, or otherwise unsafe.
We do not repair, modify, or troubleshoot homemade or custom-built battery packs.
We do not repair or support chargers or charging equipment that appear unsafe, incompatible, homemade, or unsuitable for the vehicle being serviced.
We do not repair major cracks, bends, breaks, or structural damage to frames or other critical load-bearing components.
We do not open, repair, dry out, recharge, or return battery packs to service after significant water exposure, submersion, or confirmed water intrusion.
If a battery is swollen, smoking, unusually hot, leaking, visibly damaged, or has experienced significant water intrusion, stop using and charging the vehicle.
